This week, Occupy DC faced the possibility of a confrontation with the National Park Service which said it would be enforcing a no-camping regulation beginning Monday at noon. However, Monday passed with little drama and the occupiers continue to sleep at both McPherson Square and Freedom Plaza.

As the movement that began Sept. 17 on Wall Street continues in the nation’s capital, we spend the hour with musicians who have performed at Occupy DC over the past months. We’ll hear from stick.man, who along with M-1 makes up the hip hop group Dead Prez. The politically conscious rappers performed at McPherson Square in December.

We’ll also hear from Pat Humphries and Sandy O. of Emma’s Revolution. Oct. 7, the second day of the occupation at Freedom Plaza, TheFightBack sat down with the guitar-wielding duo who discussed their newest song, “Occupy the USA.”

And we’ll hear from David Rovics, who played at both of DC’s occupations when he was in the area for the December trial of Private Bradley Manning, the accused Wikileaks whistleblower.
