But what happens to people who get priced out by all this progress?” NewsTalk host Bruce DePuyt asked in his introduction to a segment on gentrification in the D.C. area with TheFightBack‘s Pete Tucker. The NewsChannel 8 reporter continued, “Critics say there are losers as well as winners in all this development. That’s because many people are finding themselves priced out of communities they have long called home.”
