Monday, Tom Sherwood of NBC4 made a generous contribution to WPFW 89.3 FM’s “Spectrum Today” and urged others to do likewise. Gloria Minott and I took the occassion to ask Sherwood about his early reporting for The Atlanta Constitution in the 1960s when he interviewed both civil rights workers as well as members of the Klan. Sherwood also discussed the state of the media today, as well “Dream City,” the classic book on D.C. politics which he co-wrote with Harry Jaffe.
To join Sherwood in supporting WPFW, please call 202 588 9739 during “Spectrum Today” which airs weeknights between 6-7:00 PM.
